VIDEO: Assault, robbery outside Jim's Steaks on South Street

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police have released a video showing a man being assaulted and robbed outside Jim's Steaks on South Street as the search for the suspects continues.

The robbery happened around 3:30 a.m. on May 7.

A 34-year-old man was walking to the restaurant and, when he arrived, he was approached by three unknown men from behind.

Police say the victim was then punched several times in the face. His cell phone, and a gold necklace were stolen.

The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
