Video released of fight that led to shooting in NE Philadelphia

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police have released surveillance video of a fight that led to a shooting in Northeast Philadelphia as the search for suspects continues.

A trail of blood and shell casings led police to the victim back on May 23rd.

Investigators say the fight happened outside the Pasa La Hookah Lounge on the 6700 block of Castor Avenue.

Seconds into the brawl, a group of men start to focus solely on the 25-year-old victim, knocking him out.

At some point the man was also shot.

Investigators say the man is recovering at Temple University Hospital, adding he had no memory of being attacked or shot.

Anyone with information on the attackers is asked to call Philadelphia Police.
