VIDEO: Burglars crash U-Haul into NE Philadelphia Public Storage
Police are searching for two burglary suspects who rammed a U-Haul truck into a storage business in Northeast Philadelphia.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police are searching for two burglary suspects who rammed a U-Haul truck into a storage business in Northeast Philadelphia.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. on September 15 at the Public Storage on the 2700 block of Grant Avenue.

Police say two men were inside the U-Haul truck at the time and crashed into the front doors of the Public Storage building.

Once inside, one of the men exited the passenger side and took a safe containing an undisclosed amount of money.

Both men then fled in the truck.

The suspect who took the safe is described as a white male, 30 years of age, thin build, long brown hair, wearing a black hat, orange t-shirt with unknown print on the front, tan pants, and black shoes.
