COBBS CREEK (WPVI) -- Dozens turned out to remember two men who were killed in a fiery car accident.

A vigil was held Sunday night at 62nd and Walnut streets - the scene of the crash - in memory of Allen Reshay Pitt and Curtis Hanson.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday when a driver in a Chrysler Pacifica travelling north on 62nd Street ran a red light and struck a Toyota Rav 4.

The impact of the crash caused the Toyota to be pushed 60 feet onto the street.

The Chrysler then spun around and flipped over, striking a parked car before landing on its front grill.

The vehicle then caught fire with two people trapped inside.

Both the Pitt and Hanson were badly burned and died.

The driver in the Rav 4 is in serious condition at Penn Presbyterian hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
