Wilmington man charged with impersonating officer

WILMINGTON (WPVI) -- A Wilmington man has been charged with impersonating a police officer.

Police say 46-year-old Edward Lindenhofen went to a home on the 2000 block of Garfield Drive Sunday, saying he was there to investigate a domestic dispute.

When someone at the home confronted Lingenhofen, he fled in a car.

Officers later arrested Lindenhofen at his home.
