Woman, 78, seriously injured in Bucks County crash

LOWER MAKEFIELD, Pa. (WPVI) -- A 78-year-old woman was seriously injured in a crash in Lower Makefield Township, Bucks County.

The accident happened just after 5 p.m. Thursday on Taylorsville Road, just North of Interstate 95.

Police say a 2008 Chevy was traveling northbound when the driver lost control, crossed the median and hit a guard rail.

The driver, and lone occupant, was flown to Saint Mary Medical Center with serious injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
