Woman arrested for stabbing man in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Police arrested a 19-year-old woman for stabbing a man in North Philadelphia.

It happened around 6:15 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of North 11th Street.

The victim, a man in his 20s, was stabbed in the chest.

He was taken to Hahnemann Hospital in stable condition.

The suspect, a 19-year-old female, was quickly taken into custody.

No word yet on a possible motive.

Police are investigating.
