DOVER, Del. (WPVI) -- A Dover woman has been arrested in the home invasion and assault of a 76-year-old man.

Dover police say 39-year-old Deneque Dunham turned herself in Thursday night.

On Thursday morning, Dunham is accused of trying to force her way into the man's back door.

The pair had a confrontation, and police say Dunham threw the man to the ground.

They say Dunham then went inside and stole his medication and wallet. As she was leaving, police say she got into another confrontation with the man and again threw him to the ground.

Police say the man had cuts to his mouth, arms and legs, but refused treatment.

Dunham was arraigned on charges of assault, home invasion and robbery, and released on bond. It's unclear if she has an attorney.
