Woman critically injured in Northern Liberties accident

NORTHERN LIBERTIES (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating an accident in Northern Liberties that critically injured a woman.

It happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at 3rd Street and Girard Avenue.

Police say a woman, about 20 years old, was hit by a vehicle.

She was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital with critical injuries.

Police are investigating.

Septa Route 15 Trolley service is blocked in the area and SEPTA is using shuttle bus service.
