Woman flees after crashing car into pole in Towamencin

TOWAMENCIN TWP., Pa. -- Police are looking for a woman who crashed a car in Montgomery County, and then fled the scene on foot.

The accident happened around 1:00 a.m. Tuesday on Allentown Road, near Thorndale Road in Towamencin.

The car hit a telephone pole - splitting it in half.

Police and medics responded to the scene, but when they arrived the car was still there, but the driver was already gone.

Police are continuing to investigate.
