Woman found dead in Fairmount apartment closet

FAIRMOUNT (WPVI) -- A woman was found dead Tuesday morning inside an apartment of her apartment in Philadelphia's Fairmount section.

It was around 11:00 a.m. when police were called out to The Philadelphian apartment building, located at 2401 Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police tell Action News that a 47-year-old woman was found dead inside of her apartment closet by the building manager.

She was pronounced dead at 11:11 a.m. at the scene.

The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Police are continuing to investigate.
