KENSINGTON (WPVI) -- Investigators have released the identity of the woman found dead inside of a running car in a parking lot in Philadelphia's Kensington section.
The victim is identified as 32-year-old Anany Peralta.
Officers arrived in the 2800 block of Frankford Avenue around 5:00 a.m. Saturday after a report of a woman slumped over the wheel of an SUV.
Medics were also called to the area. They discovered four bullet holes in the driver's side door of a white Ford Escape.
The 32-year-old victim was already dead inside the car with a gunshot wound to the head and torso.
The parking lot was part of a former public school, but is now a non-profit called the Somerset Center.
The organization helps women get back on their feet.
No word on any suspects or a possible motive.
