A woman suffered smoke inhalation after flames erupted inside an apartment building in Philadelphia's Parkside section.

PARKSIDE (WPVI) -- A woman suffered smoke inhalation after flames erupted inside an apartment building in Philadelphia's Parkside section.

The fire started in the basement before 1 a.m. Tuesday on the 1700 block of North 42nd Street.

The fire then spread to the upper floors of the row-house converted into apartment units.

The victim is being treated and is listed in stable condition.

Four residents were displaced.

So far, no word on what caused the blaze.
