Woman on porch shot 3 times in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A woman in North Philadelphia was shot three times while on her front steps after walking her dog, police say.

Authorities say gunfire rang out around 3 a.m. Sunday on the 1100 block of West Oakdale Street.

Police believe the shooter was aiming at a group of men standing near the 22-year-old woman.

She was shot three times in her legs.

The victim is recovering at Temple University Hospital in stable condition.

There is no description of the shooter.
