Woman struck, killed by pickup truck in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- A woman was killed after being struck by a pickup truck in Wilmington.

It happened on the 200 block of North Orange Street just before 11:30 Tuesday morning.

Police say they found the 60 year old woman lying on the street with head injuries.

She was rushed to Christiana Hospital, where she later died.

It's believed she was crossing the street between Del Tech and the parking lot when she was struck.

So far, no word on any charges in the accident.
