The NYPD is sharing new video of a bridge rescue. Police pulled a young man from the edge of the Manhattan Bridge, Wednesday.

MANHATTAN, N.Y. -- The NYPD is sharing new video of a bridge rescue. Police pulled a young man from the edge of the Manhattan Bridge, Wednesday.

The 22-year-old was said to be emotionally disturbed, and getting ready to jump.

The emergency service unit distracted him while workers cut a large hole in a fence to reach him.

They then took him to the hospital for evaluation.
