A young man is clinging to life after being shot in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia.

HUNTING PARK (WPVI) -- A 22-year-old man shot and killed in the Hunting Park section of Philadelphia has been identified.

It happened around 9:49 p.m. Friday along the 4200 block of North Franklin Street.

Saleem Quadir Brown suffered a gunshot wound to the head and shoulder, police say.

Officers found him lying in the street unresponsive. Medics pronounced him dead.

Police are now looking for the person who pulled the trigger, and left Brown in a pool of blood.

The shooter is described as a black male, dark complexion, in his mid-20s to early 30s, 6 foot 2 inches tall, heavy set, with a light beard with short hair. He has tattoos on both arms, and was last seen wearing a white tank top.

Investigators are looking for clues to the motive for the shooting.
