Young man shot in the chest in Camden

CAMDEN, N.J. (WPVI) -- A 21-year-old man was shot in the chest in Camden, New Jersey early Thursday morning.

The shooting happened around 1:45 a.m. at the intersection of Benson Street and Eutaw Avenue.

He was rushed to Cooper Hospital in critical condition.

Police are trying to figure out who shot him and why.
