Part of house collapses in East Mount Airy

EAST MOUNT AIRY (WPVI) -- Officials are investigating a partial collapse of a house in the East Mount Airy section of Philadelphia.

The chimney on the home in the 500 block of East Walnut Lane gave way at 1:30 a.m. Monday. Then a part of the side wall came down.

No one was inside the home at the time.

City inspectors say the house is no longer habitable.
