Pedestrian struck by car in Egg Harbor Township

EGG HARBOR TWP., N.J. (WPVI) -- A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County.

The person was hit while crossing East Black Horse Pike around midnight Monday.

The victim was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.

Police say the driver of the striking vehicle stopped nearby.

No charges have been filed.
