STANTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Authorities say a 57-year-old man may have been under the influence of alcohol when he walked into the path of a truck in Stanton, Delaware.

It happened just before 8 p.m. Wednesday on West Newport Pike.

Police say Albert Tisdel was hit by a truck driven by a 17-year-old boy from Wilmington.

The teen stayed at the scene.

Tisdel was rushed to the hospital where he's listed in critical condition.
