Pedestrian struck in Delaware hit-and-run

MILL CREEK, Del. (WPVI) -- Delaware State Police are investigating a hit and run in Mill Creek, New Castle County.

Chopper 6 was over the scene around 8 p.m. Tuesday on Kirkwood Highway near Milltown Road.

Police say a driver struck a pedestrian on the eastbound side then took off.

The victim was rushed to Christiana Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
