PHOENIX (WPVI) -- A wild dog chase brought traffic to a standstill on a highway in Phoenix, Arizona on Wednesday.

Firefighters, and even a few drivers, spent more than an hour trying to catch up with the two canines.

They eventually caught one.

The second ran into a nearby RV park, where two women caught up with it.

Animal control is caring for the dogs while they try to track down their owners.
