43 Chihuahuas rescued from Bensalem home

BENSALEM, Pa. (WPVI) -- Bensalem police responding to a domestic situation found a suspected case of animal abuse.

SPCA officials rounded up 43 Chihuahuas from a house on the 3500 block of Morrow Drive.

The tenant is facing 60 to 100 animal cruelty charges, according to police.

The tenant's sister told Action News that she has a mental disability and was in the process of finding new homes for the dogs.
