Man accidentally sells girlfriend's cat

A Michigan man hopes there's still some Santa magic out there. He needs help after he accidentally sold his girlfriend's cat.

Roy Dufek says he was just trying to help.

He went to his girlfriend Haley Crews apartment to sell her bed, which she had posted on Craigslist.

He didn't know Crews's cat Camo liked to hide in the bed.

And Camo did just that when the buyer showed up.

Dufek had no idea, even helping the buyer get the mattress to the car.

When Crews couldn't find Camo, she put two and two together.

"Right away I knew he had hide in the box. It was an old hiding place that I had taped up. I untaped it to sell the bed and he freezes and doesn't meow. I'm sure that's where he was." said Hayley Crews.

The couple contacted the buyer, but Camo has been nowhere to be found.

They believe he jumped out of the box spring before it got to the buyer's home.

They're now offering a $200 reward to anyone who locates their scaredy-cat.
