YORK, PA (WPVI) -- A Pennsylvania cat is being called a hero, after taking a bullet for his owner.
A stray bullet went into Angela Sipe's home in York late last week.
She says it went through a window, her couch, and her cat, before ricocheting around the room.
It finally came to rest in a pillow just inches from her three-year-old son.
Sipe says when she took the cat to the vet, she had the option to put him to sleep but she couldn't do it.
She says, "Yeah, I told them I didn't. I wanted to keep him. He was my sons little hero. He saved my son's life so I have to keep him around."
The cat has some muscle damage but is expected to be okay.
