Pictures of World's Ugliest Dog Contestants

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and the these homely hounds are proof that not all dogs need meet pedigree standards to be a man or woman's best friend.

These dogs are the top finalists in the 26th annual World's Ugliest Dog Contest at the Sonoma-Marin Fair, which is being held Friday June 20th in Petaluma, California.

Pet owners from across the country signed up their furry friends, with contestants arriving from as far away as Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona and New Mexico.
