NEWPORT, Del. (WPVI) -- There's an urgent call for help to find a missing dog in Delaware that belongs to a military member serving overseas.
Sugar is a 6-year-old pit bull that jumped a fence in Newport sometime on Memorial Day.
Her owner, Tenisha Bell, is serving in the Army, and is currently deployed to Korea.
While Bell is serving overseas, Sugar is being cared for by a foster animal caregiver Tina Albano.
She says it's important that anyone who sees the dog to call right away.
"She has a special diet and if she doesn't have the food she needs, she will need medication that is costly. You can't feed her anything. She will get very sick," Albano said.
Sugar has a brown collar with her name and license and has been electronically chipped.
