Snake slithers out from under car hood in Florida

CLEARWATER, Florida (WPVI) -- Talk about the potential for a heart attack! A Florida man was shocked when a six-foot snake suddenly slithered out from under the hood of his car while he was driving down the road.

Tim Mokway says he's used to seeing snakes, but having one right in front of his eyes on his windshield was a little too close for comfort.

"I did close my AC vents. Cause I was like, I do not want a snake, it's a brand new car, I imagine it's sealed pretty well," he said.

Tim says he went Kayaking over the weekend and thinks that's where he picked up the unwanted hitchhiker.

He said he got a good laugh out of it.
