VIDEO: Ducks rescued on Houston freeway

A family of ducks were saved from cars on the freeway this morning on the West Loop (KTRK)

Ducklings slowed traffic on the West Loop this morning. Police officers were alerted that a duck family was on the freeway and provided them with an escort.

The ducks were first spotted near 610 and Bellaire around 9am this morning. Drivers slowed down to get a look at the unusual procession.

Police managed to herd the fuzzy family into green space and safety.
