VIDEO: Swan bites man while taking selfie while trying to prove that swans are gentle

This zoo-goer probably wasn't expecting this photo op to turn into such an "I told you so" moment.

Steven Takata posted this video of his brother-in-law, Jeff, at the Great Bend Zoo in Kansas. Jeff's friend had been bitten by a swan a year earlier, and to show just how tame swans can be, Jeff wanted to take a selfie with a swan in the background. Unfortunately for Jeff, his point was far from proven. His story is something to keep in mind next time you try to get up close and personal for your zoo selfies.
