A 99-year-old Florida woman got quite a scare when she awoke to an exotic animal taking a nap on her chest.

He's called a kinkajou and he was sleeping on the woman's chest.

When she woke up and discovered him, she screamed and sent the kinkajou scurrying into the attic.

The woman's daughter was able to lure it out and bring it to a local animal hospital.

"They're very peaceful animals. They're arboreal, they live in the treetops, in the branches; they eat fruits and bugs. They're pretty docile creatures," Dr. Don Harris of the South Dade Animal Hospital said.

It turns out this kinkajou is no stranger to comfortable living.

He is someone's pet and even has a name: Banana.
