Missing girl, 3, found safe in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police say a missing 3-year-old girl has been found and is safe.

The child was last seen in her bed around 4 a.m. Tuesday in the 5400 block of Bartram Drive in Southwest Philadelphia.

Her mother said she had gone to the store, and when she came back the child was gone.

Police alerted the community to the child's disappearance, and she was found sometime before 9 a.m.

Investigators say the girl was found at a neighbor's home.
