Philadelphia police investigate suspicious death in Somerton

SOMERTON (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating the death of a 22-year-old man in the city's Somerton section.

According to investigators, around 1:20 p.m. Sunday a family member found the man lying near a shed in the backyard of a home on the 500 block of Byberry Road with severe head injuries.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police said no further information is available at this time.
