Gay lawmaker threatens to out cheating colleagues

Alabama's only gay legislator is sending a warning to her colleagues who oppose gay marriage.

Rep. Patricia Todd said those who cite family values as their reason had better have a clean and virtuous record.

Otherwise, she said she'll make their marital infidelities public.

"I will not stand by and allow legislators to talk about 'family values' when they have affairs, and I know of many who are," she said.

Alabama is on track to become the 37th state to legalize marriage equality.
