BOSTON, Mass. (WPVI) -- In Boston, a 10-year-old girl wants to be President of the United States.

First order of business, Amend the Constitutional provision requiring that presidents be natural born U.S. citizens.

Alena Mulhern was born in China.

She was just ten-months-old when she was adopted.

The U.S. Constitution says, "No person except a natural born citizen shall be eligible to the office of president," which means you have to be a citizen at birth to hold the job.

On Thursday, Alena testified before a State House committee, trying to convince lawmakers to pass a resolution asking Congress to change the law, or even the Constitution.

Alena has plenty of time though, a quarter century to be precise, as the Constitution also requires presidents to be at least 35.
