Senator pushes for diaper changing stations in men's bathrooms

A lawmaker in New York City is pushing for diaper stations to be in both male and female restrooms.

State Senator Brad Hoylman has introduced a bill that would require all new or newly renovated buildings to put those changing tables in both female and male bathrooms.

Hoylman, who is married to a man with whom he has a child, says yes, this is personal - he's sick of changing his daughter on the bathroom floor.

But he says its also about getting other dads to "pick up the slack in parenthood."

The bill is up for vote this month.
