American Mothers Mother of the Year

MIDDLETOWN, Del. (WPVI) -- A very deserving mom from Delaware is getting national recognition.

Michelle Wall was named Mother of the Year during a ceremony Friday at Silver Lake Elementary School in Middletown.

Wall was joined by her two daughters and members from her girl scout troop.

She was given the award by American Mothers for being an active parent and member of the School Board.

Wall will serve as an ambassador for mothers across the country.
