CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) -- A shooting victim managed to crawl out of a car after it flipped over and burst into flames just two blocks from a Delaware County hospital.

Police say the victim was shot around 2:40 a.m. Sunday at 4th and Highland streets in Chester.

They say he tried to drive himself to Crozer Chester Medical Center, but collapsed behind the wheel.

The car went out of control and crashed at 21st and Upland streets.

The man was able to escape the fire and was taken to the hospital.

No arrests have been made in the shooting.
