The American Red Cross is teaming up with Sport Clips Haircuts for the "Saving Lives Never Looked So Good" campaign.

Donate blood or platelets during the month of September and get a coupon for a free haircut at the Sport Clips near you.

Saturday, September 12th marks Coast Day on the Delaware River Waterfront.

That means free boat rides, kayaking, and pedal boats for the family.

You can also check out remote-controlled model ship races, the world's largest collection of LEGO model ships, and a free round-trip shuttle to the Fairmount Water Works.

Coast Day runs from 11 am to 4 pm at the Marina at Penn's Landing.

FREE STUFF FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS

Saturday, September 12th is also the annual Campus Philly CollegeFest.

It's a city-wide day of discounts, freebies, and entertainment for students.

Just bring your student ID to the Campus Philly tent and get a wristband good for free admission to several museums, including the Franklin Institute, plus free rides on the Philly PHLASH bus.

The event runs from 10 am to 4 pm at Dilworth Park.

FREE JAZZ FESTIVAL

Finally, you can enjoy live jazz music for free on Saturday, September 12th.

It's all part of the annual Philadelphia United Jazz Festival and Celebration.

The event features more than 15 performers, including the US Army Jazz Big Band.

It runs from noon to 10 pm at Broad and South streets.
