Waiting until the last minute may cause stress, but there were plenty of Christmas Eve shoppers out trying to nab their final gifts.

For the Adocock siblings, this final rush for presents has become an unofficial tradition mostly about having fun.

"Santa actually laid across the three of our laps. It was a Christmas miracle," said Carson Adcock.

While time is mostly out, many last minute shoppers say waiting until the last hour at the King of Prussia Mall paid off.

"I didn't have a rough time getting here like I was expecting," said Carey Lowman.

"Not so busy today maybe everyone finished up early," said Brooke Adcock.

"It was slow compared to other days but it was bigger items sold," said Jalil Bami.

Bami at Milanj Diamonds says all that sparkles was flying out of the cases this year and sales are up higher than last year.

One of those sales was to the Villecos who are newlyweds.

"It's our first Christmas as a married couple," said Dante Villecco.

He let his wife open her present early.

"Sparkly is good," said Edie Villecco.

Action News was at the Cherry Hill Mall earlier Wednesday which was packed with just hours to go until Christmas.

However in the middle of all the chaos, you can still find the little things that make Christmas so wonderful.

"For Christmas I expect to get a puppy and I'm really excited for Christmas because it's my favorite holiday," said Alain Mediratta.

That is not to say everyone is feeling the magic.

We still found plenty of last-minute shoppers who were stressed out.

"I am feeling the pressure. It's getting a little deep now," said Angela Brokenboro.

"I have to get two more things and I'm out of here. I'm trying to get out of here really fast. It's for my mom and my dad, I hope they're not watching," said Anthony Washington.

We also found some undercover Santa's looking for the last second gift over at the Walgreens down the street from the mall.

"I'm getting her the headphones for nighttime TV because her husband can't stand her watching TV at night," said Joan Walters-Olivio.

But for Felicia Pallillo of Cinnaminson, the real wonder of the season is introducing her three-month-old and three-year-old grandsons to Santa.

"We made an appointment to see Santa and we're going to be there and it's going to be exciting for him," said Pallilo.
