And here's a great way to MAKE some money if your flight has been delayed, overbooked, or canceled. AirHelp.com says you could be entitled to up to $800 for your trouble. Take just three minutes to send your flight details and AirHelp will file a claim with the airline FOR YOU and even go to court if necessary. The company keeps 25-percent of the payout but unsuccessful claims don't cost a dime.

RoomerTravel.com connects you with folks who are stuck with hotel rooms but can't cancel without paying a penalty. Roomer lets you buy those rooms at a discount, and handles all the legwork, including changing the name on the reservation and acting as the middleman for payment.
