2016 Tredyffrin police awards ceremony

BERWYN, Pa. (WPVI) -- Dozens of police officers in Chester County were honored Wednesday, for going above and beyond the call of duty.

The 2016 police awards ceremony for officers in the Tredyffrin police department.

Three officers were honored for their actions in the arrest of Cherie Amoore, the woman who is accused of kidnapping 7 week old Ahmir Simmons at the King of Prussia Mall.

Officer Thomas Spurlock was honored as the 2015 officer of the year.
