9th National Walk at Lunch Day

CENTER CITY (WPVI) -- The sun may not have been shining Wednesday, but it's always a good idea to take a break outdoors.

That's just what these folks did as part of the 9th National Walk at Lunch Day.

It's hosted by Independence Blue Cross.

It was created to encourage people to take small steps toward a healthier America.

Those who walked the designated route around Rittenhouse Square got a complimentary gift and registration for Philadelphia's bike-share program.
