Former Philadelphia police commissioner Charles Ramsey attended Wilmington's city council meeting

WILMINGTON, Del. (WPVI) -- Former Philadelphia police commissioner Charles Ramsey attended Wilmington's city council meeting Monday afternoon.

It's his first public hearing in his new role as public safety consultant for the city's police department.

Council met to review 13 recommendations by the state crime commission to curb violence in Wilmington.

Word also came that Ramsey will lead a team investigating the University of Cincinnati's police department after a fatal shooting.
