PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- If the landscape is mostly gray outside, inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center there's a burst of color with the Philadelphia Flower Show.
This year, designers are capturing the beauty and spirit of the world's grand cinema as the show celebrates the silver screen.
"From Peter Pan through the current version of Cinderella," said Alan Jaffe, Pennsylvania Horticulture Society.
The inspiration for this year's exhibits - Disney and Disney/Pixar films.
Cinderella's wedding is one of the most elegant displays this year.
There are hydrangeas, roses and orchids and Cinderella's slipper under the glass dome.
The show is also featuring Wedding Wednesday.
"A couple will actually be getting married at 5:30 tonight on the show floor before 10,000 of their favorite friends and family here," said Jaffe.
Then there's the butterfly experience - an interactive exhibit, giving visitors an opportunity to roam among 30 species of the most rare and exotic butterflies.
"I love butterflies. I love them!" said one guest in attendance.
And of course the forecast is always a perennial concern during the flower show.
Beginning next year, the show will open on a slightly later date - March 5th - to maximize the opportunity for good weather.
This year's show runs until March 8th.
