A record setter is honored

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A local high school freshman is already setting herself apart from the crowd.

A special ceremony was held this morning for Thelma Davies.

The Girard College high school freshman has broken state records in track and field.

Davies is the first freshman to ever win Pennsylvania state titles in both the 100 meter, and 200 meter dash.
