American Airlines honors its "veteran" employees

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- While many were busy trying to catch their flights Wednesday, one airline took a moment to say thank you to a very special group.

At Philadelphia International Airport, American Airlines honored its employees who either served in the Vietnam War or employees who have family members who served.

The tribute is a thank you for their sacrifice.

American Airlines is honoring its veteran-employees across the country today in partnership with the Vietnam War Commemoration.
