Artists helping artists

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A benefit concert was held Friday night at the TLA on South Street for Philadelphia musician Jeff Bradshaw.

Some well known local artists were on hand, including Jill Scott, who organized the event.

Bradshaw, a trombonist who's worked with a long list of iconic artists, was diagnosed with diverticulitis, which is an intestinal disease.

He wasn't able to work for months, so proceeds from the concert will help pay his medical bills.
