Blue Ribbon Awards

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A number of Philadelphia police officers were recognized Wednesday for their outstanding service to the city of Brotherly Love.

The 17th District Advisory Council hosted its annual Blue Ribbon Award Ceremony in South Philadelphia.

Officers were nominated by their supervisors to be recognized as officer of the month.

State Representative Jordan Harris was among the dignitaries at the ceremony.
